The Bangladesh International Textile, Knitting and Garment Industry Exhibition (BTKG Expo 2026) is all set to run from April 29 to May 2 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, showcasing cutting-edge textile machinery and garment technologies.
Organised by the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), the event positions Bangladesh as a vital hub in South Asia’s textile machinery market.
The BTKG Expo 2026 is set to dominate South Asia’s textile machinery market. The exhibition will run daily from 11am to 7pm, with the final day closing at 6.30pm.
Organised by the BKMEA in collaboration with the Inforchain Digital Technology Co., Ltd, the event also has Chan Chao International Co., Ltd as its international sales agent. Together, these bodies aim to propel Bangladesh’s textile industry into a new era of innovation and global competitiveness.
The venue, ICCB in Kuril, Dhaka, lies adjacent to the 300 ft. Purbachal Express Highway, offering easy access for international and local visitors.
BTKG Expo 2026 thus stands as a landmark event for Bangladesh’s textile industry, combining advanced technology, global networking, and strategic business opportunities—all under one roof in Dhaka.
Each display is intended to highlight how innovation can accelerate Bangladesh’s technological advances, delivering effective quality, high speed and competitive costs to secure a crucial edge in the global market. The event is not only about machinery but also about positioning Bangladesh as a lucrative market for international suppliers, the organisers said.
The exhibition will feature a comprehensive range of textile and garment machinery. Visitors can expect to see knitting machinery, looms, steaming machinery, textile screen printing equipment, winding machinery, bleaching and washing systems, cloth processing machines, embroidery equipment, and laundry technology.
Equally important are the spinning, weaving, and yarn processing machines, alongside testing equipment and controls that ensure quality standards. Auxiliary tools such as knives, scissors, grinding machines, ironing and steaming equipment, cutting and laying machines, and sewing machines for both industrial and household use will also be showcased.
The exhibition extends beyond machinery to include fibers, filaments, yarns, fabrics, dyestuffs, pigments, and textile chemicals, reflecting the full spectrum of the textile production chain.
BTKG Expo 2026 is not just a showcase of technology—it is a business growth platform.
By bringing together manufacturers, exporters, and buyers, the exhibition creates opportunities for networking, partnerships, and trade expansion. The event highlights Bangladesh’s ambition to strengthen its role in the global textile supply chain, while offering local businesses access to international innovations.
The exhibition maintains strict entry guidelines, with visitors under 16 not admitted. This ensures a professional environment tailored to industry stakeholders. The ICCB venue provides modern facilities to accommodate the scale of the event, reinforcing Dhaka’s reputation as a growing hub for international trade fairs.
