The Bangladesh Ceramic Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BCMEA) has joined Asia’s premier ceramics exhibition, Foshan Uniceramics Expo 2026, held in China to highlight Bangladesh’s ceramics industry and showcase the trade potential of the South Asian country.

BCMEA General Secretary Irfan Uddin and BCMEA Executive Secretary Zahedi Hassan Chowdhury attended the four-day international show, which held its grand inauguration ceremony at the Foshan Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Shunde, Guangdong, China.

The BCMEA team participated in the colourful inauguration of the expo along with delegates from more than 600 leading brands across the ceramics and related industries.

“We are participating in the Foshan Uniceramics Expo 2026 to gather information about international suppliers of ceramic raw materials and to explore new export opportunities,” said Irfan Uddin.

“The BCMEA has long been working to build relationships with international companies while highlighting the potential Bangladesh has. We consider this expo a great platform for that purpose,” he said.

The expo, spanning an expansive 96,000 square meters, recognized BCMEA as a Global Ceramics Cooperation Golden Bridge Partner, a testament to the association’s dedication to the sector.

“BCMEA partners with different international expositions to ease the way for Bangladeshi ceramic companies to establish global joint collaborations,” said Zahedi Hassan Chowdhury.

“The main goal of taking part in the Foshan Uniceramics Expo 2026 was to provide local ceramic makers with multi-sourcing opportunities and create a ready reference for them so they can easily expand their global reach and do business,” he said.

The exhibition presents the latest innovations, technologies, and design trends in ceramics, serving as a dynamic platform for business networking and global trade opportunities.

Featuring more than 10,000 product categories, complete plant solutions, advanced industrial equipment, and materials, the expo is expected to attract over 130,000 professional visitors, including buyers from more than 80 countries.

Engaging in a series of professional activities throughout the event, the BCMEA team is also showcasing Shaping Bangladesh Magazine, the bi-monthly publication of the Bangladeshi association.

The lifestyle magazine highlights Bangladesh’s evolving landscape of architecture, economy, ceramic industry, and culture, offering international audiences deeper insights into the country’s creative and industrial sectors.
