On 8 February, the Tableware International Awards of Excellence 2026 ceremony was held at the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt, an event that sets the global standard for tableware culture, design and originality. SACMI’s renewed sponsorship of the Casual Dinnerware category consolidates its long-standing commitment to the initiative.

The 2026 award went to Mesa Ceramics for its ‘Twist’ collection, much appreciated by the international jury for its ability to merge contemporary aesthetics with functionality by skillfully interpreting casual dining trends in a modern key. Other finalists included Amefa with ‘The Oslo Collection’, the ‘organic’ shapes of which extend beyond traditional design patterns, and Anfora International, with the bright colors of the ‘Puebla Collection’.

SACMI's sponsorship of the Tableware International Awards of Excellence is part of a broader vision in which the Group plays a world-leading role in promoting technical culture, technological development, and innovation within the industry. A key partner throughout the production process, the SACMI Group’s brands and companies - SAMA-Lippert, SACMI Imola, Riedhammer, and Gaiotto Automation - provide comprehensive solutions that cover every stage of production, from body preparation to forming, firing, decoration, handling and finishing.
